1. Executive Summary

The Council Of Professional & Technical Education (CPTE) project, developed by Sajjan Studio for The Experts, represents a benchmark in educational technology. The objective was to transition a traditional certification council into a digital-first organization. We engineered a dual-layered ecosystem comprising a high-performance public portal and a sophisticated administrative engine. This system automates the lifecycle of professional diplomas—from student enrollment and institute management to the critical final stage of digital diploma verification.

2. Project Background & Client Vision

The Experts envisioned a platform that could standardize technical education across various affiliated institutes. The existing manual processes for diploma issuance and record-keeping were prone to errors and lacked a quick verification mechanism. CPTE needed a solution that could handle large volumes of student data while maintaining the highest standards of security and transparency.

3. Problem Statement

Before Sajjan Studio’s intervention, the council faced several bottlenecks:

• Verification Latency: Employers and institutes had no way to instantly verify a student's credentials, leading to potential fraud.

• Data Silos: Information about different diploma courses and affiliated centers was scattered, making administrative reporting difficult.

• User Experience: The lack of a centralized student portal meant that students had to physically visit offices for basic information or certificate status.

4. The Solution: A Modern Web Ecosystem

We proposed a robust Full-Stack solution using a mix of modern technologies to ensure speed, scalability, and security.

A. The Public Portal (User Interface)

Using ReactJS, we developed a fast and responsive frontend. Unlike traditional websites, this Single Page Application (SPA) allows users to navigate through various courses and council information without constant page reloads, providing a smooth, app-like experience.

B. The Administrative Core (Admin Dashboard)

The "brain" of the project was built on Laravel. This dashboard gives the council full control over:

• Institute Management: Adding and monitoring affiliated technical centers.

• Course Management: Creating and updating diploma categories and durations.

• Student Lifecycle: Managing the journey from registration to the final examination and certification.

C. The Student & Institute Panels

We developed dedicated login areas for students and institutes.

• Student Panel: Allows learners to check their profile, download course material, and track their diploma issuance status.

• Institute Panel: Enables centers to upload student data directly, reducing the administrative burden on the central council.

5. Technical Implementation & Innovation

Laravel & ReactJS Hybrid Architecture

By combining Laravel’s secure backend with ReactJS’s dynamic frontend, we achieved a perfect balance. Laravel handles the complex business logic and database security, while ReactJS ensures that the user interface is modern and intuitive.

Seamless Data Interaction with AJAX

To make the platform truly efficient, we integrated AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML). This allows the system to communicate with the server in the background. For example, when an admin searches for a student record or an institute updates a status, the information updates instantly on the screen without a full page refresh.

The Digital Verification Engine

The most critical feature is the Secure Verification System. We built a custom algorithm where every diploma issued is linked to a unique digital ID.

• Mechanism: A dedicated search interface where anyone (with permission) can enter a diploma number.

• Result: The system fetches the student’s photo, course details, and completion date directly from the secure MySQL database in real-time, effectively eliminating the risk of forged documents.

6. Functional Modules in Detail

1. User Management & Roles

We implemented a multi-level RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) system. This ensures that a Data Entry Operator has different permissions than a Super Admin, maintaining data integrity and preventing unauthorized changes to academic records.

2. Diploma & Certification Workflow

The system automates the generation of diplomas. Once an institute confirms a student’s completion, the admin can approve the record, and the system automatically prepares the digital profile for that student, ready for the verification engine.

3. Analytics & Reporting

The dashboard includes a reporting module that provides the council with insights into:

• Total enrollments per year/month.

• Performance of different affiliated institutes.

• Geography-based student distribution.

7. Development Methodology

At Sajjan Studio, we followed an Agile development approach for CPTE:

1. Requirement Gathering: Understanding the specific legal and academic requirements of the council.

2. Prototyping: Designing the UI/UX in Figma to ensure the professional look of an educational body.
